Decision No. 3334/QD-PTDV-VT dated 26 August, 2002 of General Director of VNPT about VNN Infogate service launching.

Allows VNN-Internet subscribers get messages under forms of pictures, photos, E-mails, newsletters, etc. from web interface of VNN to paging, mobile subscribers of VNPT.

Supplies the following services :

a. Web Message: can send messages from serviced web sites to mobile subscribers (VinaPhone, MobiFone) and paging ones (107, 1570) with maximum characters of 145 (for mobile subscribers).

b. E-mail Alert: can receive notes informing of new e-mails in e-mail boxes on own’s mobile or paging numbers. Setups can be made to receive alerts for e-mail addresses of : hn.vnn.vn, hcm.vnn.vn, dng.vnn.vn

c. Calendar: can send notes informing events as birthdays, meeting dates to own’s mobile or paging numbers by preset timetable, by hours of day, days of week or month of year.

d. Ring tone sending: can send songs from serviced web sites to own’s mobile phones and for friends, relatives.

e. Logo sending: can send logos from serviced web sites to own’s mobile phones and for friends, relatives.

f. Picture & Message sending: can send pictures with messages from serviced web sites to mobile subscribers. Characters along with pictures limited under 70. Customers can use full functions of Web Message & Logo sending services.

Customer objective for service:

- Stage 1 : for current subscribers of VNN 1260.
- Stage 2 : being developed for subscribers of VNN 1268, VNN 1269, VNN 1260 - P (further guide)

Fees & billing:

VNN 1260 subscribers have to pay for using VNN Infogate service including:

- Dial-up: Telephone fees + Internet fees + VNN - Infogate fees to mobile, paging numbers

- Direct ISP Channel: Channel renting fees + VNN - Infogate fees to mobile, paging numbers.

Billing of above services is listed with VNN 1260 by current regulation.

Ways of using the service:

VNN 1260 or VNN subscribers directly access home web site of Internet integrated service http://infogate.vnn.vn without signing up procedure.
