HCMC Post & Telecommunications with widespread network of post offices & postal agents supply customers with the following postal & press distribution services:

DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL POSTAL ITEMS AND PARCELS

Receive, transfer, deliver mails, documents, goods, etc. to all addresses nation-wide & countries all over the world by air or surface means, maximum weight under 31.5 kg.
Customers can use other special services as: registered, express, notice of delivery, delivery to receiver in person, etc.

EMS EXPRESS MAILS

Receive, send, transfer, deliver quickly mails, documents, goods, etc. domestically & internationally by time limit set before:
-Domestic: 24-48 hours
-International:
*To Asia : 2-5 days
* Australia & Europe: 4-7 days
*America & Africa: 7-10 days

PTN (24 – HOUR DELIVERY) SERVICE

• Mails, documents, goods, etc. are sent, transferred, delivered to receivers’ addresses nation-wide in the same day or by time limit agreed with customers.

• Service scope: addresses within province/city center: Ha Noi, Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An, Can Tho, Bao Loc, Tay Ninh, Vinh Long and Nha Trang.
Time acceptance: before 9:30 am, but parcels to Hanoi & within HCMC before 11:30 am every day.

• Besides, accept quick delivery of items to cities, townlets by time limit agreed with customers.
Time acceptance: according to working hours of post offices.
(When customers request to receive at their own addresses, please contact PTN Center before 6:00 pm every day)

• Customers can add second receiver’s address within delivery area in case first receiver can not be delivered, then second one will receive it.

INTERNATIONAL QUICK TRANSFER AND DELIVERY

HCMC P&T co-operate with quick transfer and delivery companies first-rank in the world as DHL, Fedex, Airborne, UPS, etc. and accept transfer, delivery, of product samples, products, foods from other countries and Vietnam to those and vice versa.
Besides, PCN Center-HCMC P&T co-operate with other foreign companies as City Link, JNE, ABC, AFC, OCS…

CONSIGNMENT POST

Post Offices carry out partially or fully the acceptance, transfer and delivery of items, foods conforming to senders’ requests as localities, transport means, transfer-delivery time and other specialties.
Consignment Post do not limit weight.
- In-area transfer and delivery (Northern, Middle or Southern): 1-5 days
- Inter-area (from this area to others)
• By air: 2-6 days
• By surface: 3-7 days

UNADRESSED MAILDROP SERVICE

Senders specify market areas or customer groups, P&T will deliver to receivers printed matters (leaflets, ads, catalogues, information introducing products..).
Limitless amount, nation-wide.

DOMESTIC EXPRESS MONEY TRANSFER

Money transfer between HCMC and Hanoi less than 12 hours, among centers of other provinces and cities less than 24 hours, among districts less than 48 hours (excluding night time).
Special services: notice of payment, money acceptance and payment at home.

POSTAL SAVING SERVICE

Customers can contact Post Offices having this service to send and draw money with appropriate interest rate, simple & convenient procedure.
Especially Saving by Installment helps customers saving monthly expenses, safe and profitable.

TELEGRAPHIC BOUQUETS

Post office deliver telegraphic bouquets by special cards printed with congratulation, greetings or condolence content and enclosed with gifts, fresh flowers or cash according to sender’s request. Post office will notify the delivery results free to senders.

INSURANCE OF GOODS SENDING BY POST OFFICES

Customers can use Price Declaration Service to ensure for mails-documents-goods. Therefore customers feel totally assured when sending postal items, parcel, EMS items, consignment post items.
• P&T are responsible for all risks causing losses, damages for items under Price Declaration Service, except cases with special regulations.
• If during transfer and delivery activities, price declaration items are damaged, P&T will compensate according to declared value and other fees, except price declaration fee.
Fees: besides basic service fees and other special ones (if available) customers pay other fees as follows:
- 1% for items such as papers, documents, informatics software, goods.
- 1.2% for bulk sizes, fragile goods.
- Minimum fee: VND 3,000

PRESS DISTRIBUTION

Ho Chi Minh City Post & Telecommunications currently distribute over 500 kinds of national newspapers, magazines & some foreign ones allowed imported by the State. Customers can order at any Post Offices by long-term, retail or subscription modes.

POSTAL STAMPS

Special printed matters are used as payment means for postal service rates & meet customers’ stamps collection demands.
HCMC P&T supply fee & collection stamps for all kinds of customers. Especially, customers can work as fee & collection stamps agents for P&T to receive commission with appropriate ration.

PRICE DECLARATION SERVICE

To ensure for items are letters, documents, goods. Customers are compensated by declared price when items are lost or damaged by P&T’s faults. Maximum declared level for one item: VND 1,000,000 for papers, documents, VND 30,000,000 for goods.
