1.What is YP Mobile?

YP Mobile is an automatic service sending messages through mobile phone, helping customers to look up the information: name, industry, address, telephones of all the telephone subscribers in the whole country.

2. Who can use it?

All the pre-paid and post-paid mobile phone customers of such networks as: VINAPHONE, MOBIFONE, VIETTEL. D'ont have to sign up, just send a message to 996

3. How to make a message?

a. Syntax:

YP_<conditions>

b. Making a message:
- Use Vietnamese words, no accent and space between words.
- Names of cities or provinces written in full, abbreviation form or indicated by telephone area codes (for more details, please refer to CITIES AND PROVINCES INDEX)
- Industry, street, ward (commune), district … (full name).
- Each message has to fulfill at least 2 conditions. The more the conditions are filled, the more rapid and accurate are the results of consultation.
- Two conditions are spaced by a blank. They do not need to follow a certain order but they must have the first character according to rules.
- Finding an information in HO CHI MINH CITY, T.<Province, city> is not necessary

4. Rules of first character of the condition:

SAMPLE SYNTAX:

a. Search by phone number:

YP_DT.<Telephone> _T.<Province, city>

EX: YP DT.8556666 T.HOCHIMINH

b. Search by industry:

YP_N.<Industry> _Q.<Urban, suburban district >_T.<Province, city>

EX: YP N.KHACH SAN Q.TAN BINH T.HOCHIMINH
or:
EX: : YP N.KHACH SAN Q.TAN BINH T.8

c. Search by name of individual or organization:

YP_TEN.<Name of individual or organization >_Q.<Urban, suburban district > _T.<Province, city>

d. Search by address:

5. Results of sending messages:

- In case of sending successfully a message (i.e. right syntax message): customer will receive the message with the proper information.
- In case of failure, the message has had wrong syntax or VYP have no data as required: customer will receive specific instructions, varying to concrete situations.

6. Cost:

- If successful: vnd 2.000 / 1 message (no VAT)
